Grain & Knot Woodworking is led by friends Cole and Nick, whose shared passion for craftsmanship and design has shaped their journey. The business is deeply rooted in Cole’s personal history, inspired by memories of working in his late father’s woodshop, where his love for woodworking first began.
Cole specializes in bringing custom designs to life, working closely with clients to ensure every detail aligns with their vision. A master of the CNC machine, he creates intricate engravings and oversees the finishing process, helping choose the perfect stains and finishes.
Nick is the backbone of the building process, ensuring precision and craftsmanship in every piece. With expertise in wood milling and construction, he guarantees durability and quality while maintaining the shop’s machinery for peak efficiency.
Together, Cole and Nick blend tradition with innovation, creating handcrafted pieces that are built to last.

Grain & Knot Woodworking is more than a business, it’s a tribute to the legacy of Cole’s father. Their woodworking journey began after his passing when they were drawn back to his cherished woodshop. It was filled with memories of learning, laughter, and a deep family connection.
